FINALLY.....a piece of Transformers art that I don't look at and cringe! Instead of trying to be a human xerox, I just used a ref and drew in my own style--I made Unicron look kind of like the Sphinx in Egypt didn't I? Heh, that's kinda the look I was going for.
I spent six solid hours on this--two to draw and four to color. If Unicron looks a bit deadpan to you, well he's supposed to. From Starscream's perspective he seems downright emotionless at times, but really, he ISN'T.
"What would a god like you know about pain?" Starscream snarled. He wiped at the streaks on his cheeks. More formed, rendering the action useless.
When Unicron spoke, his voice was soft and distant, "Enough to be its prisoner."
And before people jump on me about having a Transformer cry, I explain it as mech fluid that forms a mist over the optics to clean them. During strong emotions the mist condenses more heavily until it drips and voila, tears! They're gold because there's a pinch of oil in the fluid.
My version of Starscream is a bit sensitive. He won't bawl, but he tears up easily. He's learned how to make his tears flow backwards into his coolant system so they don't fall down his face...handy when Megatron is getting in his face.
As for Unicron not being MASSIVE...he can alter your perception of him and appear any size he wants. Dude, he's a god, he can do that
*brr* It's amazing, both fanfic and drawing. Hats down, it was awesome, I couldn't stop reading it, but I'm not really type of girl who likes pornformers having nothing better to do than play polka all over my head....
lol, only tihng I want to do now is to draw something Ambrosia-related. But I'm embarased And whenever I hear word "Ambrosia" I immidiately think of my dad sneezing and his legendary red nose in late summer...
