Dark Dances

Description

When I said he has cartoon-like proportions, I wasn't lying. The more I looked at the Primes in RotF, the more I realized Primacron is lanky like THAT. (And btw, his altmode is an F117a Nighthawk).

It's FUNNY because he looks like he'd be tall, but he isn't! The cape has as much of his mass as his body does. It's almost like a tail, because he can make it move without wind. ORRRRRR he can suck it up into his body and give himself full-length Starscream-like wings. He just likes the cape. Bad guys are required to wear capes =p

Primacron CAN dance like Starscream. HE IS the very first Seeker to exist, so all grace Seekers possess comes from HIM. Primacron just doesn't dance often because he hates music. It reminds him of the thrums and dreams from before time, when he and his brother, Primus, were still one being. Bitter, much?

Now, some history...

From Primacron's personal logs:

Let us engage in a history lesson, shall we?

When one says the word "Seeker," do you ever consider the story behind it? Everything has a story, even if it is only one word long. I am the reason the word Seeker even exists--and I'm sure all Seekers will be terribly annoyed if this gets out in public. Heh, heh...

It is derived from the word Ancients used to describe me before they knew who and what I am. They referred to me as Capto et Quaero, which literally translates into "seek and search." Sometimes I am still referenced in that manner so my actual name could be avoided. Many words of modern language are derived from Ancient.

The word Seeker comes from the Ancients abbreviating my description into Caquaer.

The glyph for it is three prongs and an inverted triangle.

Many Seekers have this etched someplace on their bodies. Some even say the Decepticon insignia evolved from that Ancient mark. Does it seem familiar? Very close to my sigil, isn't it? HAHAHA!

Well, as history goes--somehow the word was continually mispronounced and mis-written into Seeker. Don't ask me how a hard 'c' sound evolved into a soft 's' because language even boggles me on occasion.

I wonder how many Primusian Seekers foolishly have Caquaer engraved on them. Do they realize they have the Cybertronian equivalent to an inverted pentagram on their bodies?

Fools.

Regardless...is it no wonder Seekers were seen as evil messengers of, well, ME...and used as slaves in early Cybertronian history? Especially those unfortunate enough to have a mostly black coloring. It's only fairly recently that Seekers were even allowed to become priests. By recent I mean in the last billion years. Before then? The priests would beat them and drive them to work when their only crime was to be protoformed with wings.

People call ME evil. I know I am, but, honestly, the Primusian religion is fraught with hypocrisy! The priests with their vows to do no harm turning around and whipping slaves like trash. The worst of it was when Seekers began amputating their WINGS to avoid slavery. The most beautiful parts of a Seeker are his wings. Removing them is...it is sexual mutilation. They are an erogenous zone. They define Seekers from normal society.

It's said that Primus took the whip from a priest's hand one day, struck HIM with it, then his face appeared in the sky all over the planet. He said if he ever saw another Seeker as a slave, he'd perform a duobus maneuver, wiping all but two people off the face of Cybertron. It was one of the only times in HISTORY that Cybertronians saw their god angry.

I must have been hibernating. Pity--that would have been amusing to see.

Now you know where the word Seeker came from and the history of the Seeker race. All in one log entry.
